Bang for Your Buck with Ad Spend
Nobody wants to pay more than they have to for something. It’s even more crucial to get the most out of your money when on a budget.
Today, we wanted to share how to get the best bang for your buck when advertising on Facebook/Instagram.
This week we will be going over what platform to use when to run your ads, finding your target audience, and editing those ads. Let’s jump into it!
Using the campaign objective:
When first creating an ad, you start off choosing a campaign. It is essential to make sure your ad campaign objective aligns with your intentions of running the ad in the first place.
For example:
If you are trying to show your ads to people who are most likely already interested in your ad, then you would want your campaign objective to be “brand awareness.”
Or
If you want to make sales, then you want your campaign objective to be “conversions.”
This is a simple and easy step when creating your ads, but it can take your money and negatively impact your results if not done correctly.
Running at a specific time:
Another tip to help you get the most out of your money is utilizing a schedule for your ad. This means you can target audiences active online at any particular time.
For example:
Say you see your ad getting most of your conversions in the late afternoon. It would make sense only to run your campaigns during those late afternoon hours.
Why waste money running ads at a time when your targeted audience isn’t online?
Refine your ads:
After running your ads for a couple of months, you will have a good understanding of who is interested in your ads and what is and isn’t working.
This is where you take a look at your analytics from the previous months and start to zero in on your audience. Go more detailed with your targeted audience and narrow in on your targeted audience to maximize your results.
