Top Three Facebook Ad Tips

Welcome to this week’s newsletter!

We are glad to have you here!

This week I wanted to go over a couple of tips for your Facebook/Instagram ads.

Let's get right into it!

1.) Video vs. Image Ads: Why Videos Perform Better Than Images

Video ads are becoming more and more popular and successful; we cannot stress using creative (or multiple creative) video ads to grab your target audience’s attention. Using video allows you to have more time to tell a story and advertise more of a product. People are more likely to watch a video that may take them 20 seconds rather than reading text on a photo ad that most people scroll by.

Afterward, create an ad targeting the people who watched over 10 seconds of the video.

2.) Choose Your Placements Wisley

There are many different avenues you can take as far as placements on Facebook and Instagram. You can use feeds, stories, marketplace, etc… you can also control if you want to run ads on mobile placements, desktop placements, or both. The placements of your ads will impact your campaign differently. For example, Instagram ads cost more than Facebook but also have a higher engagement average. Find the best placements for your ads and implement them into your strategy.

3.) Use Retargeting Campaigns

Retargeting campaigns will typically have lower CPCs (Cost-Per-Click) and higher conversion rates. You can target people who have visited a certain page on your website, customers who purchase regularly, and many more options regarding targeting users who have interacted with your business in the past.

Upload the list of email subscribers, blog subscribers, or past customers and create timely offers that relate to these specific people.

You can also implement dynamic ads that show the same person they looked at 3 days later. This reminds/nudges the customer towards going through with the purchase.

When creating your next ad campaign, use these strategies and watch your results increase, leading to better results, more conversions, and more paying customers for your business.
